I have been working professionally in the local government and private enterprise horticulture sector since 2014.

Being based down in Albany in 2014 to 2016 I worked for a not for profit organization Green skills Inc, working on a variety of community and environmental development projects.
One of my main projects Was for ABP (Australian Bluegum Plantation) working in Silviculture managing weeds, controlling grazing animals, thinning, pruning, fertilizing, planning, and harvesting.

In early 2017 I relocated back to Perth and gained employment in local government with the City of Stirling in the Environment and waste division, focusing on Natural environment and Conservation management. Bushland reserves and wetlands, native animal, native plants and habitats, pests, weeds and disease and costal management and marine wildlife.

In 2018 we relocated back to Kim’s home town of Margaret River.
Since then I have worked as a contractor in Firebreak installation and maintenance; Slashing and clearing, Asset Protection Zone maintenance, Controlled burning, Bushland and garden maintenance.

In 2020-2021 I worked for Tim Davies Landscaping Bunbury & Perth Divisions focusing on Garden Maintenance: Including Hedging, Pruning, Weeding, Plant & Tree Care
Turf Care: Including Mowing, Edging, Fertilization, Aerating
Pest and Disease Control: Licensed Herbicide & Pesticide Application
Irrigation : Reticulation System Install, monitoring and Repair, Controller Programming.
The Perth Division mainly focused on Residential garden renovations, maintenance and landscape design.

2022-2024 local employment focusing on Residential & Commercial Irrigation, garden maintenance and turf care.
